Dribble
An active maneuver by a player to get past an opponent, which can involve a trick, feint, or moving the ball quickly without touching it. A dribble can be performed without necessarily progressing toward the opponent's goal. If the player loses control of the ball after a dribble and engages in a challenge with another opponent, the success of the dribble is determined by the outcome of the challenge. If the player wins the challenge, the dribble is considered successful; if not, it is unsuccessful.
A successful dribble where the player retains control of the ball and improves their position, leaving the opponent behind. A successful dribble is characterized by the opponent being unable to prevent further progress. Each time a player passes an opponent, a successful dribble is recorded. For example, if a player successfully dribbles past three opponents in a row, three successful dribbles are registered.
