xG (expected goals)
xG
The historical probability of a goal being scored from a specific position with a certain type of shot. This probability is derived from all shots in the RUSTAT database taken from the specific point on the pitch and the total number of goals scored from those shots. A team's xG in a particular game is calculated as the sum of xG for each shot taken during the game by the team as a whole. The type of attack and the body part used (left foot, right foot, head) are also considered when evaluating the shot. This parameter is generated automatically.
